Honestly I was never really a fan of this series. nothing enticed me what so ever. After a synopsis read and a short trailer...I AM SUCKED IN. This could be an astoundingly good game if all plays out well. Meaning a great story, free roam, lots of character interaction (Disney made a carpet have emotions, so a stoic human character should be easy), and ofcoarse great visuals. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time the writer-director-producer has had the rug pulled out from him on a video game project. The same thing happened in 2012 when THQ closed its doors while he was trying to make a game called Insane. Though del Toro has said how excited he is about the potential for this medium to draw people into a story, he might not try his hand at it again.
“Well, you know, I’ve tried twice and I don’t know if I’ll ever come back to the form,” he said. “In one instance, the company went down, and in the second, the completely unexpected happened, which was Kojima and Konami separating. It’s kind of left me reeling.”

At its heart, Finn and Jake Investigations is a modern take on a classic adventure game, a genre that has seen a recent resurgence. Gameplay is based on exploring, investigating, and puzzle-solving. Through the course of the episodes, you get to interact with dozens of your favorite Adventure Time characters all over the Land of Ooo, including the Candy and Fire Kingdoms, Wizard City, and Castle Lemongrab.
And there’s a reason for all of this investigating!
Joshua and Margaret — Jake’s mother and father, who also raised Finn — were seasoned detectives back in the days before becoming parents. They received their assignments from a machine called the “tickertype,” which printed out information on various cases. Now, Finn and Jake have unearthed the tickertype and decide to go into the investigation business themselves.

It's not clear why some of the games are blocking Share Play, but some games might be patched later to support Share Play. This happened with Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, which now plays nicely with the feature. If you find anymore titles that don't work let us know.
The game’s not focused on fighting, but what would Adventure Time be if Finn couldn’t solve at least some problems with his trusty sword? Combat is fast-paced, pitting Finn against a variety of familiar foes who drop lots of collectibles and loot (as game enemies so often do). When you go back to the Tree House after each “episode,” you’ll see piles of dosh grow in Finn and Jake’s treasure room.
